April 6, 2013 Review- Floral Terrace

(Edited because I've been trying to add photos but I'm having difficulty with drop shots. Any recommended photo hosting websites?? Maybe I'll have better luck)

I never posted much, but I did want to take a moment to post how awesome my vendors were! We had no issues! A great day =)

Floral Terrace: A++
I cannot say enough good things about Frank and his team. The night was perfect! They were awesome to work with! AND they allowed us to bring our dogs to the ceremony!!!

Viana Hotel: B
I hate to give them a B because everyone was so nice. But they made a mistake on our reservation, and booked us 1 suite instead of 2 (we had the confirmation paper). When we called to confirm our reservation, we were told they were sorry for their mistake but had since booked the 2nd suite. They did give us a regular room for free one night to make up for it. The day before the wedding when we checked in one of our rooms wasn't ready until 7 pm and check in was 3 pm. They did offer to give us a room on another floor, but by that point we had already moved a bunch of our stuff to the connecting room and chose to wait. Lastly, they allowed a relative of the groom to charge something to our room without our permission. We are in the process of getting it fixed. A positive thing they did was pick up a family from our wedding a little early because my younger cousins were tired and couldn't make it to the end of the night. It was a beautiful hotel and I would stay in the future.

Esquire Tuxedos: A++
Michael was awesome- the guys looked great!

Bridal Suite of Bay Shore for Bridal Gown and Bridesmaid Dresses: A
No problems with the dresses, minimal alterations needed.

Body Rock: A++
Kept everyone dancing all night!! Soo much fun!!! Richie is an awesome MC!!!!

Benchwerk: A++
Love these guys!! Our engagement photos were amazing! Can't wait for the wedding pictures!

5 Pin Studios: Unrated Haven't received video yet.

Wick's Florist: A
Easy to work with. Loved our centerpieces!

All Star Limo: A
Debbie is very sweet. Bus was on time and assistant and driver were lovely.

Lola Loves Makeup: A+ Makeup came out so beautiful!

Hair Artistry by Nicole: A+ Hair also looked amazing and stayed all night!

Capriccio Ensemble: A++ String Trio played beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour music!

Tips for future brides: The only thing I forgot in my 'emergency kit' was eyelash glue. They didn't come off, but one corner lifted the tiniest bit. Only I could tell, but I would've felt more comfortable if I had some extra glue with me just in case. Remember your invite for photos if you get ready somewhere other than your house! I got ready at the hotel and forgot my invite. Luckily one of my bridesmaid's remembered it. Most of all- have a GREAT day and ENJOY it!
