Flowers
My wedding is July 12, 2002...and we are having a hawaiian/luau theme. I`m interested in the Plumeria as a main flower. Can you tell me approximate prices for this flower in July? thanks. Also, any other hawaiian type flower ideas are appreciated.

Flowers
You may want to use dendrobium/oncidium orchids as your main flower. It is very readily available in New York all year round and will be more reasonable than Plumeria in our area if you can even get it here. Plumeria grows as a tropical branchy plant in Hawaii does not ship well as a cut flower I believe. Dendrobium orchids come as a nice cut flower, are used by many florists and what leis are also made from and are Hawaiian also. There are Hawaiian dendrobiums which are long. Dendrobiums come in different colors too. That is the tropical flower that would be most similar a Plumeria look that is readily available. Other tropicals include, Anthurium, birds of Paradise, heleconia, protea. They are more bold striking larger flowers also readily available along with many, many tropical greens. Hope this helps.Welcome New Vendors
