natural look in make up

My daughter recently had a trial makeup session and although she said several times that she wanted something very very natural, when they finished she didn't even recognize herself. How do you get through to a makeup artist that you don't care to look made up. She is a very natural looking girl and wants to look that way on her wedding day.

natural look in make up

Every bride wants to look natural (on the most part)I do make-up my self so I understand what you are saying that there not getting. some people takes more to get that natural look and some it takes very little. It's that sharper look that you are looking for. You want people to say....WOW she looks so good I cant pin it out I wonder what she did diffrent? Maybe try going with your make up on and bring photos of your self. good luck!

natural look in make up

Unfortunately, the photographers who use lots of artificial lighting produce a result that does not look natural without heavy makeup (at least that is why I think that the make up artists apply so much.) I prefer to use photographic techniques that replicate what you really see onto the picture. That means that I much prefer that the brides wear what they normally do because that is the way they will turn out (light makeup to produce a natural look, not heavy.) Ask your photographer what is preferred dependent on the style of photography.
