Hey Mark I was wondering of you could give a bit of advice. I was married 2 yrs ago and had JoVon photograph my wedding. My end results were nice but I was unhappy with their professionalism and there were pictures that I wanted that weren''t taken such as a photo of my parents together, infront of the limo--all reviewed the night before. Anyhow...They shut me up by adding a panoramic and extra photos to my album. 2 years later in the mail I receive a paper that says I have 30 days to pay $150 for my negatives or they will be destroyed. Am I asking a lot if I called and explained my situation and asked for them to lower or wave the negative fee??? Do I really want the negatives if I have the proofs??? Do you think asking $150 for negatives is nervey?? Thank You so much......Lisa

Hmmmm. It would be innapropriate to make comments about my competition so let's talk 'in general.' The only reason to have the negatives is for safekeeping if you ever want a picture made up (someone dies, etc.) and just in case something happens to the album and you need to replace pictures. Also, just to hold onto something that you might consider valuable. As far as the cost, it seems reasonable. I charge $75 and I've heard as high as $500. Good luck
