Suggestion for vendors & LI Weddings

Just a thought for getting this board more active... I know that Mark, Dawn and others used to post more frequently on the other board. If you're still lurking there and glancing at postings, maybe you could post a 'response' on this board if you see something that is relevant. Chances are the posting bride and others will see it and your advice would be helpful. Perhaps too, if LI Weddings could loosen up on the Vendor's Only response policy it would help generate some more activity. It might also help if vendors just posted some points of advice about your industry. When I first came on the board a year ago, Mark had posted a very helpful item on what to consider when choosing a photographer. It was very objective and gave some great tips. If LI Weddings would let us respond to those I think we'd definatly have some more information exchanged here.

I think that is a great idea to get this board more active. The vendors could respond to some of the 'bride to bride' questions but their responses could only be viewed on the vendor board so as not to interfere with the 'brides only' board. I bet LIWeddings could figure out a way!

Thanks for the feedback + suggestion. Unfortunately, I really don't have time to check both boards. I tried at the beginning of this cycle, but gave up when I couldn't be interactive. The truth is, I do this as a break from my routine and basically for fun. If I have to work too hard (posting from one board to another) it's just becomes tedious instead of fun. You can thak those mean-spirited adversarial types for our present solution/predicament. They won in the quest to banish me, so here we are.
