Question about negatives
Mark, I'm confused - what do you mean the photos are copyrighted? Our wedding pictures do not belong to us? And if negatives are included in the package, you can't ever make reprints even though you bought them? Just curious. Thanks for your help and advice! Lee

Answer about negatives
Yes. The pictures that you have that were authorized to be made up by the photographer/studio are yours to keep. However, the photographer/studio owns the RIGHTS to the pictures. You cannot take a proof to a copy machine to make copies. The store owners are supposed to refuse to make copies of professional pictures. The negatives are meant for safekeeping. You would need permission from the photographer/studio to use those negatives to reproduce pictures.Welcome New Vendors
