question for Mark about photo opps

My FI and I are getting married at the Milleridge Cottage and are getting married in the Atrium. Since we won't be traveling from a church, we've been thinking that after our wedding (it's on a Sunday and it's over at 5) we should head down to Jones Beach for some pics if the weather permits. I was just wondering if there was anywhere near the Milleridge that would be great for photos? A friend of mine showed me a picture of someone who married at the Milleridge and she went somewhere nearby that looked like a caste/stone columns? Thanks for your input

answer from Mark about photo opps

You're probably thinking of the Coe Estate @ Planting Fields Arboretum. It's about 10-15 minutes from Milleridge. There are lots of places around, depending on the look and mood you want. The beach is a lot different from Planting Fields. You should discuss with your photographer what would work best with your personalities. If you love the beach, then go for it. Otherwise the beach is not an ideal spot for pictures. Only if you're beachy people.
