Hi Mark; Any photo tips to help minimize 'raccoon eyes' in photos? I just saw some snapshots from my shower and some looked like I went a few rounds in the boxing ring! I know that some concealing make-up will help, and I'm assuming that good lighting will also help, but wondered if there was anything else I should be aware of re: the tilt of my head, natural vs artifical light, etc. Thanks in advance!

Golly gee, but any professional photographer knows what to do. Dark eyes come from using overhead sun as the principle lighting. That should always be supplemented with fill flash to 'fill in' the eyes. Don't use makeup. Don't stand in full sun. Face away from the sun (if the photographer knows how to work with backlight) or the preferred: shade!
