The Place Club Med Turks and Caicos

The Setup

We were on a Provo island vacation on Turks and Caicos at Club Med with my sister and her boyfriend and my best friend and her sister.

We had arrived in Turks and Caicos the previous day and had been relaxing on the island. We went back to our room for our mid-day nap (necessary at any all-inclusive vacation) when John decided he wanted to take a walk.
We went down to the beach and walked for a bit. There was a long peer that jeted out into the crystal blue ocean and John suggested we go sit at the end. It was a beautiful view and we were just having a very casual conversation about the depth of the water. John stood up to get a "coin" out of his pocket so we could drop it in and see how deep the water was, when I turned to take the change he was on one knee- ring in hand.
