Destination: Riviera Maya

After originally attempting to plan a vacation overseas in Italy, we decided to pick a honeymoon location that offered us the best of both worlds: culture and beaches.

The Riviera Maya is located on the eastern tip of Mexico amongst the areas of Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Cozumel. With white sandy beaches and clear blue water, Riviera Maya also offers the ancient culture of the Mayan civilization.

We intend to split our days amongst tours of ancient Mayan ruins, such as Chichen Itza, and relaxation on the beach.

We are staying at the beautiful Secrets Excellence Riviera and plan to take advantage of the resorts countless amenities.
