How it all began...

When? June 18th

Where? Meghan's House

Ok so this was like the 4 time I was supposed to meet Josh...after showing up to a barbeque when he'd already left, coming to church on a day he was gone & so on...we had planned a beach trip. So for the first time EVER, I actually blowdried my hair & did my makeup to go to the beach! (hey i wanted to look cute okay?) anyways, after an hour of deciding which bathing suit to wear, me & some friends were on our way...the day goes by & sure enough Josh calls mid afternoon to say he can't come!! We'd never met, but he actually REQUESTED to talk to my on my friends phone to apologize(meanwhile this wasn't a blind date or anything...we were just meeting with mutual friends in a casual setting)..ANYWAYS, so now he's not coming...I take total advantage & go swimming - all my makeup comes off & the blowout I had turned into a salty beach coif...but who cares??? HE WASN'T COMING.....riiiiight...

So me & my friend meghan make a stop at her house before she drops me off home for my math tutor(lol i was still in highschool & NOT good at math!). Her phone rings and it's Josh saying he bolted out of work and is coming to meet me!!! WHAT!!!!???!!! NO HE IS NOT!!!! but he was....so I run to the bathroom to try & make the best out of my beach bummed self not being able to really to much (as we all know what the beach does!). So I come out of the bathroom looking for meghan, turn the corner, and there is Josh standing right in front of me with meg...I didn't even know what to do! He looked so handsome still dressed from work & I was a mess! Nonetheless, I gave him a hug & introduced myself :) I was completely smitten, but was trying to be skeptical only because I was in the "i hate guys mode" from being hurt....anyways he actually ended up taking the ride back to my house with meg & I, met my mom, my math tutor, my dogs, the whole nine! Josh still says that that was cutest I've ever looked..he still remembers what I was wearing and claims when I "came around the corner" his mouth dropped to the floor without really dropping :) The rest I guess is history :)
