How He Popped the Question

The Date November 13th

The Place Josh's bed...3:30 am

The Setup

In my mom's little two bedroom apartment, my brother & his wife were visiting so they had my room, I was upstairs in Josh's bed, & josh was booted to the couch ;)

GEORGOUS!!! 1 3/4 princess cut center, tapered baguetts & princess on the sides..PLATINUM.

I hadn't felt to great so I had attempted to go to bed early. Tossing and turning & even josh rubbing my stomach I could NOT sleep :( After a few hours of dozing and waking up, all of a sudden all the lights flick on. So my initial reaction was "What are u doing?! It's 3am... turn the lights off, ur blinding me!!!" lol...ANYWAYS, Josh went on to say "I have something to make you feel better"...so i figure, okay he's being sweet - let him be. He pulls out a card in a pink envelope...and it was all about getting married(mind you i still have no clue because i think he's just being sweet). The card was filled with goofy promises like "I promise to always leave to toilet seat down, etc. etc." and at the bottom in his own handwriting he wrote " Out of all these things, I promise to make you & keep you happy for the rest of our lives"...I say "you're so sweet, I love you" and go to give him a hug, only for him to respond with "wait...that's not it...there's something else" at this point I noticed he was on one knee next to my bed - he then pulled out a georgous lenox keepsake ring box with my STUNNING ring it it :) and said the words "will you marry me?" I WAS FLOORED. Completely amazed saying "WHAT!??! It's 3am! Is that real? THAT IS A BIG DIAMOND!" etc. etc. etc....i know it sounds random..but it was SO PERFECT because i had absolutely NO CLUE. I was so taken back and so suprised that i didn't even know what to say...finally josh says "So???" & i say "yes yes! of course yes!".not to mention I felt better! of course then I couldn't sleep & went on to wake up my mom, call my cousins & best friends at 3am and beamed with josh by my side...the next day we went all over sharing the news with friends and family without an ounce of sleep :)
