What To Expect: Bridal Trials
Hello, Beauties!
So, you’ve booked your bridal trial with The House of Makeup - what’s next?
BEFORE THE TRIAL:
Before you arrive for your trial, you have a little homework to do! You’ll need to come prepared with a look (or two!) that you’re interested in to discuss with your bridal artist. You can explore our Instagram page, Pinterest page, or website galleries. We have bunches of glamspiration on these outlets.
When searching for your perfect look, keep in mind to match your skin, eyes, and hair color to the model you are looking at. This will allow you to envision how the style will look on you.
You will receive some detailed preparation information for your services via email when you book with us. Prep for your skin and hair prior to service is crucial for a flawless application.
ARRIVING TO THE TRIAL:
Plan to arrive about 10-15 minutes early to your booking time to ensure plenty of time to find us! We are conveniently located a few doors down from a Starbucks for your afternoon pick-me-up.
DURING THE TRIAL:
Your bridal artist will look at your inspiration photos with you and discuss the details of the photo from an artistic perspective. Artists will give their professional of your look if asked. If you would like their input, please ask! If not, we will bring your vision to life.
Once the look is decided on, you will be styled. Enjoy the next few hours of your day chatting with The House of Makeup girls, being pampered, and escaping the reality of a work day!
After your services are completed, you will have a chance to evaluate your look, take some photos in front of our stunning flower wall with professional lighting, and make some changes if you would like. Once you are happy with your trial, you will leave with some information to complete your wedding booking on our website.
It’s very normal to have more than one trial, as you may want to try a couple of different looks.

Want to add a little extra drama to your trial experience? We offer custom-blended hair extensions to add gorgeous volume and length to your hair styling. Make sure to email or call 2-3 weeks prior to your booking to place your hair extension order.
