Anyone ever have...
Epidurals in your back for pain?I'm on my second one, just had one this morning, and I can swear I feel much worse than I already do.
Long Story short I have 3 herniated discs, two of which are pinching the nerve in my butt that gives me pain down my right leg with numbness and tingling.
I still have it. I really believe these shots do not work and are a waste of time and money. PT works for a few hours and then it's back again.
I'm starting to wonder if this is even worth it anymore.

Re: Anyone ever have...
They call them epidurals and said I 'have' sciatica. I just feel worse right after them, and I felt no relief from the first one. if I dont feel relief in a few days I'm calling my spine doc and telling him he can take his third shot and shove it. $200 a pop, my a$$.

Your insurance doesnt cover it?
I stopped getting them too, it wasnt worth the time going to the Dr.
Unfortunately sciatica pain really doesnt really go away. Some days are worse than others. I have my pain constantly.
I hope you feel better

I have a lot of neck issues. It's no where as serious as yours... but does anything help ease the pain?Chriopractor? I go to a holistic one that I swear was doing voodoo but it works... although quite temporarily...
Yoga? I have to tell you since I started doing yoga it has made SUCH a huge difference in my alignment/comfort. I could go on about yoga forever Im such a huge believer

they told me no yoga, i can't do a lot of stretches until I can get rid of the tingling and numbness. Not sure about a chiropractor. They make me so nervous for some reason.

I had serious back surgery in 2006 but before that, I tried the epidurals and facet blocks. They did NOTHING for me and just caused more pain.Welcome New Vendors
