We had our party at Lombardi’s on the Bay during their Sunday brunch. The view was awesome and the food was delicious! Everyone had a great time!

Where in Suffolk are you located? My friend had hers a while ago at Mario's Italian restaurant in setauket. You can try momma Lombardis Holbrook. Sea Basin in rocky point has a separate floor for parties, they are great!

RE:Recommendations for Engagement party venues
The brunch at Lombardi’s was awesome! It is a shared setup but we had no issues. They will put you in an area that is more secluded. I’m sure they will work with you regarding your numbers and appropriate location. Our party was more on the small side so we sat right next to the water. The food was amazing and a brunch minimizes open bar fees (everyone gets champagne or mimosas which is usually enough). We called it an Engagement Brunch on the invitation and it just turned out so well. Great views and so much food!We did check out the View. Way tooo busy for us! It seemed as though every table had balloons celebrating something specialplus parking is more difficult. Place was totally packed! Heard the food was good though.
Had a surprise party for my fiancée this summer at Desmond’s in East Wind. That was nice too but different vibe. For an engagement party, I really thought Lombardi’s was fun and different.
Hope this helps!
