RSVP'S

Hello,

I have sent over 85 invitations and I have probably got less then half that have RSVP'd in general. It says due back by Oct. 1st now we're about a week away from October 1st and I am freaking out because A LOT of people have not answered. The wedding is on the 20th of Oct.

Did anyone have this problem and if so, how did you deal with it?

Thank you!

Kay

RE:RSVP'S

It happens, especially if you sent the invitations out early-- people tend to forget. Once you're close to Oct 1, you're going to have to reach out to the guests and ask if they received their invitation and sent back their rsvps.

RE:RSVP'S

This happens and people forget even though they ask you all year long about the invitations. If you have bridesmaids and close family members you can have them reach out to those who haven’t rsvp’d. Also include it on your website that rsvp deadline is coming up and reiterate you need an accurate headcount so that everyone can come.

RE:RSVP'S

Hmmmm...10 weeks is probably a week or two too far in advance, but it's not terrible.

It's not October 1st yet and you have 3 more days to receive mail - you might get an influx on October 1st.  Depending on when you need to submit numbers to your venue, I'd wait 3-5 days after 10/1 to start reaching out to guests.

I sent my invites out 8.5 weeks before my wedding (190 guests) and I had about 13 missing RSVPs.  It happens to all of us.
