Another provera question...

For those of you who have taken provera, did you experience any side effects?

I started taking it the day before yesterday and so far I have had such a headache and been very nauseus! (sp)

I was wondering if anyone else experienced these side effects as well?

What Are the Side Effects?
Like Norplant, weight gain is another side effect that affects about two-thirds of the users. It's not clear why this happens; it could be water retention or a change in appetite. Finally, headaches, nervousness, hair loss, abdominal pain, dizziness, weakness, and fatigue have also been reported. In general, use the Norplant guidelines above to decide whether you are an ideal Depo-Provera candidate. Women at risk for breast cancer and osteoporosis may want to look for an alternative.
