Re: Giorgio's brides....where are you!

Here I am. I heard that they recently changed their baker. Apparently he is supposed to better than the other company...I don't know. Sorry to hear that they don't have your red velvet.

I hope that everything turns out beautiful with your cake.

Congrats & Good Luck!

Re: Giorgio's brides....where are you!

I'm really upset that they changed bakeries. (I just posted on your other thread about the red velvet.) FH and I wanted that as well. I can't believe they only do chocolate or vanilla. I'm really surprised. Does it say in our contract that it was with Create-a-Cake? I really don't want to spend the extra money to get a cake elsewhere when its included, but I'm dissapointed that we now can't get what we were hoping for after we had already decided based on what Giorgio's told us when we put the deposit down. Oh well....

Re: Giorgio's brides....where are you!

no, it doesn't have the bakery anywhere in the contract. maybe if you call too and say you want red velvet, he will make it.

i am pissed though,,,,i almost want to go to giorgios and be like, give me the difference and i will go and get my own cake!

i just really want red velvet

Re: Giorgio's brides....where are you!

even if we didnt' go with red velvet... I thought there would be more of a choice than chocolate or vanilla. That seems so boring!!! Do they at least have German chocolate, marble... things like that?

Re: Giorgio's brides....where are you!

We might use another bakery. As for Giorgio's giving us the $$$ to to do so...I highly doubt that will happen. Guess we are just gonna have to suck it up and make our choice. You two should really fight for your red velvet!

Re: Giorgio's brides....where are you!

Hi,
I wanted Rolling Pin to make my 3 tiered cake 1 1/2 inches apart.
He told me they do not make columns that size that they have 3-5 inches.
That got me annoyed, since I want roses to fit in the 1 1/2 space. I couldn't go with the 3-5 inch tier that would leave soo much space in between, so I had to go with stacking them on top of each other.. I wonder if it will give me the same affect.
How hard is it to purchase columns the height I want.....

If it makes you girls feel any better, the cakes are PHENOMINAL. (sp) My shower cake was made there, and it was awesome.
