Highly Recommended 'Remember When' for Dance Lessons!!!

Hi everybody,

Just wanted to make a recommendation. We had our first dance lesson last night. With only 11 days to go we are under the gun!!

We went to a place in St. James/Smithtown called 'Remember When.' What wonderful people! They are so nice, and our teacher was FANTASTIC! We learned so much in 1 hour it was incredible. They video tape you dancing (bring your own tape), so you can watch it later, and use it to practice with. If you bring in your wedding song, they will choreograph a dance to specifically go with it.

It's only $55.00 per hour for the couple. No contracts. No downpayments.

Can't recommend them enough.

Thanks for the info. I want to take dance lessons, my friend did and they danced beautiful, another couple didn't and it was nice because it was their first dance but they just stood there and shifted their weight from side to side. I like when you move around like you know what you are doing.

How many we need and how many we have time for are two different things!!!

We have time for maybe three or four lessons TOPS.

I would say to give yourself enough time so you don't have to cram all your lessons into a few weeks.

You'd have to ask them what they recommend. I wish we had started sooner, but my FH had scheduling problems.

I just called them. I spoke to AnneMarie. She was really sweet. She mentioned a bride who just came in for a lesson 11 days before her wedding. I said you were the one who recommended them! She said it is an average of 4-6 lessons. Now I have to talk to FH to see if we have the extra money to shell out.

I just wanted to say thank you for posting a link to their site. My GF used them and I didn't realize that had a website. When I looked - there was a picture of her on it under weddings. My GF is Stephanie - DH is Robert. How funny!!
