PLEASE HELP! HOW TO HEAL A SCRATCH/CUT SUPER FAST!!!!!

PLEASE HELP! HOW TO HEAL A SCRATCH/CUT SUPER FAST!!!!!

my wedding is in 12 days....and FH has a big scratch on his face!!

tomorrow my cat is going to be de-clawed (at FH's request)

obviously my kitty realized this information, and fueld by, what i can assume must've been, a mixture of cat nip and crack...he managed to slash my FH's face in the middle of the nite while he was sleeping!!

do you ladies have any ideas or suggestions as to what i can put on his face to help heal the sign of zorro that my cat has left on FH faster so it's totally gone by the big day!

ETA: is it wrong that i couldn't help but laugh about this later on, as i can imagine my cat sitting on FH while he was sleeping last nite and saying 'Getting me declawed? i got yo' number biitch'

I would use bacitracin for a few days and then put Vitamin E on it. Eek! Good luck!

there is that scar cream, i can't remember the name of it...but it diminishes scars...it should be in eckerd or cvs...

I agree and maybe you should hide the catnip till after the wedding. It is kitty crack and makes them rather hyper. Oh and just because your declaw doesn't mean they won't scratch. My sisters cat just scratches with her back claws now. They asked the vet about declawing the back and the vet said then the cat would just bite.

I'm with everyone else...Neosporin & straight up vitamin e oil. Buy the caplets at a health food store & break them open & pour it on. It'll be thick & gooey but it'll work.

PS - if they ask you at the vet if you want the 'optional blood work' on your cat before surgery, I STRONGLY recommend it. TRUST me on this one. I had a cat declawed in December.

vitamin e oil (you can get it at a vitamin store like gnc) everytime you think about it, esp out of the shower. it'll take it away in no time and there'll be no mark left.

awww... what is up with cats lately?!!!

try maderma-- they now sell it over the counter-- that at night along with neosporin during the day and make sure he puts LOTS on it... try to have it covered with a bandaid for part of the day and then let it breathe at other parts.

so sorry!!!! he should be ok for the wedding-- if not, have Jackie put a little make up on him-- some cover up should do the trick by that point!!

it will be ok, my fh fell in the shower the night before my prom. i was soo worried about our pics (and fh's face a little). his mom put make up on and covered it up. it looked fine!! so try some make up.
