DJ plus live element

What's the consensus on getting a DJ with the added live elements of a sax player and a persussionist? I appreciate your input. Thanks!

Re: DJ plus live element

we are doing the percussionist. We would have done the sax player too, but it was already enough money.
I think it will add a lot to the party to have some live music too.

Re: DJ plus live element

I think a DJ with live elements will be great! I wanted to do that too... but got vetoed by fh and his parents.

I love the idea. We are having a percussionist and I think it brings the entertainment to a whole other level! Great Choice. I think your guests will love it.

I got very positive feedback when I had a live singer and a dj.

Re: DJ plus live element

That's great to hear. Do you know who was the singer and percussionist that you used? The more I'm shopping the more I'm seeing the same people being used by various companies. There's quite a few to choose from!

Re: DJ plus live element

Then be careful about booking them because if they are over committed by one DJ company and you think you are getting one singer or percussionist, they may get booked by another DJ company for your date.

Re: DJ plus live element

The DJ I used only uses one singer. They always come as a packaged set. I used DJ Tom Gordon. His website is www.djtomgordon.com

Tell him Franni says hi :)

Re: DJ plus live element

We are getting a drummer and a sax player from Bravura. We loved them when we saw them at a showcase and finally booked them after checking out probably 10 dj's
