First time halloween home owners....

How much candy are you buying????
LOL I have so many kids in my neighborhood, plus we live next to the park that backs up to the athletic fields...

I just don't want to be stuck with it and eat it all!!!!

Re: First time halloween home owners....

I have a funny story about 'overcompensating' on Halloween candy from our first year in our house! We figured since there's a lot of kids in our neighborhood that we'd stock up and get everything at BJ's.... SO we ended up with THREE different BJ's size bags of candy and only about 10 kids showed up!!!! LOL - After Halloween was over, I took one with me to work, Craig handed another bag out to his students, and we kept the last for ourselves. We were eating Kit Kats and Reeses cups until Thanksgiving!

We now only buy ONE bag from BJ's and it's under lock and key until the day of Halloween!

Re: First time halloween home owners....

Last year I spent over $35 on candy! I live in a development and I had a TON of kids...parents actually drove their kids to our development and dropped them off to Trick or Treat.

This year I am hitting the price club~!!!
