Fortunoff Wedding Survival Party

Is anyone going to the Fortunoff Wedding Survival Party?? I might but wanted to see if any LIW girls were going!

Rules for the Wedding Survival Party Challenge:

All registrants will be given an activity card upon check-in. The Survival Guide Captains stationed at each game point will enter all game points onto the activity card. The Activity Cards must be handed back to a Wedding and Gift Registry consultant at the end of the registrants stay in the store. All activity cards will be tabulated on the day of the event and winners will be notified at the end of the event. (*)
Prize certificates will be given out the day of the event. Names of the winners and winning times will be available through our call center on the day following the event after 12 noon. We will not give the details of the pricing of the Wedding Bling. There will be a runner up and first prizewinner in most games. All prizes are final ? there are no returns or substitutions on the prize packages.

In the event of a tie score, the activity cards will be placed together in a random drawing.

The Wedding Bling: Registrants will guess the dollar value of the jewelry presented in the jewelry vitrines. Each vitrine will have an individual value. The registrant will need to guess the TOTAL value of the 3 vitrines. The registrant who comes closest to the value WITHOUT GOING OVER will be the winner.

Jumping Jack and Jill Flash: Couples will hold hands, facing each other and perform FULL jumping jacks Hands must be held at all times The couple who performs the most jumps in 30 seconds will be the winner.

Tie the Knot: Registrant will be given bow tie tying instructions. Registrant must tie the bow tie on the other registrant. Quickest time wins- Maximum allowed time- 20 seconds. This prize/contest is given by Dante Zeller Tuxedos

Hustle to Bustle: Registrant will be shown how to bustle the train of a wedding gown. Registrant will have to properly bustle the train. Quickest time wins- Maximum allowed time-2 minutes. This prize/contest is given by Bridal Reflections.

The NearlyWed Game: Registrants must sign up to participate in one of the 5 rounds of play. Men will be asked to answer 3 questions related to their fianc? Fianc? must answer the questions and the answers must match exactly for points to be awarded. The 6th round will be the championship round. The women will be asked 3 questions and the men will have to match their answers exactly. In the event of a tie score in any round, we will pick a number from a bowl- the seated contestant will need to write down the number they believe is closest to the number we have chosen. That person will move on to the next round or will win the round.

Hoopla: Registrants will have 30 sections to shoot a basketball through a hoop. The high scorer will be the winner.

Make it Bedder: Registrants will have 1 minute to make a bed from the flat sheet up through the pillows. Merchandise may not be thrown on the bed. The quickest time wins-

Raise the Bar: Registrants will be making a Mojito from the listed instructions included in the bridal check in packet. All ingredients must be used in making the drink. The quickest time wins- Maximum time allowed ? 30 seconds.

What's its Use? Registrants will match the kitchen gadget to its use. This form must be filled out completely and include brides name and phone number. The person with the most correct answers will be the winner. Tiebreaker will be held in a random drawing. This contest winner will be announced by phone on January 31st 2006.

Totally Terrific Tabletop Trivia: Registrants must answer the 10 questions relating to tabletop product. This form must be filled out completely and include brides name and phone number. The person with the most correct answers will be the winner. Tiebreaker will be held in a random drawing. This contest winner will be announced by phone on January 31st 2006.

Flower Power: Registrants will have 9 opportunities to toss their ?bridal bouquet? into a receptacle 3 forward tosses, 3 backward tosses, 3 blindfolded tosses. The highest score wins.

The Jet Set Registrants will be given a 22' carry on suitcase and a suitcase full of clothes. Registrants must FOLD all the items into the suitcase, buckle the straps and zip the suitcase closed. Maximum time allowed - 45 seconds. The registrant with the quickest time will be the winner.

Leader of the Pac Registrants will play 1 game of Pac Man- High score wins. This prize is shared between the Westbury and Wayne bridal events. There will be 1 Pac Man awarded. This prize will be announced on January 31st by phone.

I'm going to the one in Woodbridge NJ.. I live on SI, so Its easier for me to go to that location.

I've been to a few, they are a lot of fun. And you get free food! I'll be at this one.

I'm probably going to the one in wayne, nj....I usually work until 1 on Saturdays but I had so much fun at the last one, and saw many of our girls there! (jennjay, bjanddan...) I highly reccomend going!!!

Yup we were there and won a toaster from DeLonghi. DEF worth it!!!!! Even FH said he had fun there. Just a note.... we were dead to the world when we were done.
