To LIWeddings ... Just a thought

Since some of us appreciate comments from vendors, most notably Mark Kauffman, all of whom have been banned from responding on the 'brides helping brides' board .. is there a way to put the option of having new messages duplicated to the vendors board? I have to admit, I don`t think about posting on the vendor board unless I have a specific question about something. However, Mark has proven to be so helpful on such a wide variety of topics, I would appreciate his input on anything he feels he`d like to comment on, or any other vendor who would like to comment for that matter. I don`t care where the advice is coming from, as long as it`s sound advice and not a sales pitch. I do understand that others here don`t want vendors posting on the 'brides' board, but being able to send a duplicate post to the vendor board would be great for those of us who like vendor`s comments .. and it would make things more interesting for the vendors too.

I agree

Whats`s the harm? Personally I enjoy reading his posts. It would be a lot more convenient if he could post here. I can see however that it might cause a problem. If he starts then everyone else will (vendor) and one solicit post from a newbie could cause the vendors to be banned from this board. Perhaps the rules and etiquette for posting should be clearly defined before this is intialized. I would hate to see Mark go because someone else didn`t abide by the 'rules.'

I agree too

I have missed Mark's postings. I never had an issue with him or other vendors posting as long as it wasn't a sales pitch. However I do know that there were those who complained every time Mark or any other vendor posted and that is why they started the vendor board. Every once in a while I check it, but there are rarely postings on the vendor board. I think Kel's suggestion is a good one.

The reason vendors have their own board is because the brides asked for it. Didn`t want the soliciting. Kel, we are writing code now that will allow your post(s) to go to the vendor’s board as well. Should be completed by the end of the day.

Great idea Kel. I have to say that I like Marks comments and advice too. The other day I just flipped out on 'vowwriter' because I know exactly who she is and what she was doing. If she had posted it to the vendor board fine, but to solicit business by playing dumb here.... sorry I just couldnt handle it. Also, maybe there is a way we could verify emails or something. I pulled up her profile and it was indeed Judy and Joseph and they said married in March. However they are in their 40's and have children and been married for many years! I just wanted to 'protect' other brides here from her pretending. Again, if she had gone to the vendor board fine but to come here and act that way... Now if you look in profiles.. hers is gone, she deleted it (as of my post to her and hasnt appeared back as of yet). I am sorry if (Mark) I came across too harsh but I like comments and advice but not her solicitations. Hope you understand
