Our wedding at the Wind Watch was perfect. Kim was super responsive all through the planning process. The day of the bridal attendant Sydney was so sweet and helpful and the maitre D was also amazing. I barely ate any of the food, but all guests said it tasted it really good. I hope one of my friends gets married at the Wind Watch so I can actually enjoy alllll of the food because there was sooo much of it. :) I would recommend the Wind Watch as a wedding venue to anyone who is looking for a classy and beautiful wedding.

If I could give Wind Watch 10 stars in every category I would!! I recently got married there, 9.12.2015 and our guests are still complimenting us on what a great wedding it was! The food, the drinks, the service, all outstanding. Everyone that works at WW is incredibly professional; our maitre'd and bridal attendant were great. Kim, the Private Event Director is AMAZING!! She is the reason why the Wind Watch throws a great wedding (or any event!). From day 1 and every day thereafter she treated us like we were family and advised us on a personal level. Other venus we visited made us feel like we were just another sale, not here! Kim and the entire team at Wind Watch made our wedding day run seamlessly, even with rain moving the ceremony indoors! The day truly was a dream come true! I highly recommend using the Wind Watch for any party!

The most important feedback I think any couple needs to know is that everything went off without a hitch leading up to and on our wedding day. We fell in love with the venue when we walked in, and meeting Kim locked it down in our minds. We'd visited 9 other venues in the Long Island and New Jersey area before we found Wind Watch, and it was clear right away that this was the one! Not only is the whole golf course property beautiful and well-manicured, the interior spaces are well-designed, well-appointed, and filled with natural light. The service and food were impeccable. We considered the whole experience an excellent value.

Kim and her team are a pleasure to work with. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable. They coordinated with the vendors and everything went so smoothly! Our wedding was absolutely spectacular! The ceremony area is amazing and the venue is well maintained. Everyone loved the food and the setting! Go see it for yourself!

When selecting a venue for my daughter, we toured MANY a wedding site. The Wind Watch was the PERFECT choice, and now, having completed the wedding, we are sure of it. Kim and her staff are outstanding. Not only was each member of her staff professional, courteous, and attentive, they instinctively knew how to meet the needs of our guests, ranging from 11 mos. to 94! Each detail was handled with care, artistry, and expertise, and Kim is not only delightful, but a leader as well. We used many of their recommended vendors, and Kim's flawless taste resulted in difficulty choosing, but the florist and bakery were magnificent. I will review them later. We selected out our own band, and Kim worked with our outside vendor as though it was part of her usual cast, with finesse and professionalism. The vista, the service, the venue, the smooth transitions from ceremony to cocktails to party were as orchestrated as a symphony. I highly recommend the Wind Watch, particularly because of Kim and her staff. We had unbelievable weather... and a piece of me just wants to thank Kim for arranging that as well. Best Wishes to anyone searching for a wedding location. May your lives together be as filled with love as my daughters, and may all of your wedding dreams come true. They will at the Wind Watch. Tell us about some of the wedding packages you offer?

We are running a special right now through the end of June. The response has been fantastic. We offer incredibly inventive menus that have given us rave reviews. We can create an international menu that’s incomparable.

What makes your location unique and special?

As we are the second highest point on Long Island, our ballroom was designed with floor to ceiling windows. The view is unique to Long Island. Our ballroom fireplace gives us a warm intimacy that brides love. Also, being located on one of Long Island’s most desirable golf courses gives our brides a great backdrop for photographs.

Tell us how your facility differs from the “norm” and how you can make a couple’s wedding magic happen and wedding dreams come true?

As is always the case, it comes down to people. Our staff of professional wedding planners have successfully catered over 2,000 weddings. We are always implementing new ideas. Coupling the new with tried and true, we have a blend that has created an international following. Our staff of award winning chefs has been able to create menus for families from East Asia, the Middle East, Europe, South America, the Caribbean and all over the Unites States. In keeping with our country club tradition, our brides and their guests are always treated by our staff as if they are part of our family.

What kind of couple would you say do you and your facility most cater to?

Because of the quality and experience of our staff we can make any couple truly enjoy what can sometimes be a stressful time. Whether the couple has a definitive image of their dream wedding or no thoughts at all, we will listen to them, contribute ideas and together create their perfect wedding. Our goal is to make any & every bride & groom a guest at their own wedding.

Tell us about the magic and ambiance your facility has to offer for each season?

The fact that we have floor to ceiling windows, a glass ceiling in our terrace room and a terrace overlooking Long Island, the outdoors is always indoors at the Hamlet Wind Watch. The changing leaves in the fall, the tranquility of a snowfall, the first bloom of spring and the splendor of the summer is what makes the Wind Watch a unique location.

Tell us about some of the most unique events you’ve hosted?

To us every event is unique and special. We take nothing for granted. Every bride is entitled to the day that she has been planning since her first tea party as a little girl. We have created shower packages that people tell us they have only seen in Manhattan’s finest hotels. We have hosted everything from Bridal Showers, Rehearsal Dinners, Post-Wedding Brunches to Bachelor/Bachelorette Golf Outings.

Tell us about some hot trends in wedding catering and how you’re helping set such trends.

I have found in the last few years brides are going back to a more traditional style. From wedding gowns to wedding cakes what’s old is new again. I am also seeing a more eclectic style. Things like mac and cheese stations and grilled salami stations at cocktail hours along side passed hors d’ouevres such as gazpacho spoons, tuna tartare and filet mignon in bloody Mary sauce and been a big hit.

How far in advance should a couple start looking for a catering hall?

A couple should start looking when they are ready to start looking. By that I mean it’s never too early or too late. Of course, the earlier you start looking and reserve a space the more options you will have.

How far in advance should a couple book their catering hall?

If a couple is time constrained as to when they can marry they should book as soon as possible. If they are a little flexible with their date they have a little more time.

How can you help couples “customize” their special event?
