Tell us more about New York Trolley Co. and the history behind the business.
New York Trolley Co was started in 2009 with one trolley, Molly. Since then, we have provided transportation for over 200 weddings and have expanded our family to two trolleys, Polly and Molly.
What makes you unique among limousine and trolley services?
Both our trolleys, Polly and Molly, provide a unique experience at weddings. Our vehicles are old-fashioned trolley look-alikes with bench seating; however, they still include modern amenities including A/C, heat, speaker systems, and wheelchair lifts. There is no better place to have a champagne toast after the ceremony. Additionally, our drivers are professional yet friendly.
How far in advance should a couple book with you for their wedding/event?
We recommend booking several months in advance. However, please check with us for availability if your wedding is sooner than that – we may still be able to provide transportation for your event!
What are some of the advantages to booking a trolley over a traditional bus or limo?
Our trolleys have a unique and nostalgic feel to them. Both Polly and Molly turn heads as they drive down the street, as well as provide great backgrounds for wedding photos! Additionally, our trolleys have more seating capacity (30 people) than a traditional limo or mini-bus.
