Allow Me to Re-introduce Myself...

Hi Everyone!

My name is Stacy. Better known here as FLaCaTaCa. I am originally from Brooklyn, NY and found LIW back in 2004 when I was planning my then wedding for September 2005. My fiance at the time and I called off the wedding for mutual reasons and have since been able to be friends and put things that weren't supposed to be behind us.

Since then, many things have changed. I enlisted in the US Marine Corps and am currently stationed aboard NAS Pensacola in Florida for my Aviation MOS school. I have also since met the man I was always meant to be with and him and I are planning a wedding for January 13th, 2007. I know you all must be thinking..OMG! So close. Yeah, it sure is but it's tough in the military and you kinda have to do things close together.

We are visiting our final reception location on Wednesday and will be having our wedding here in Florida with our families and close friends flying down for us. His name is Keith and he is from Indiana.

I thought of LIW AS SOON AS WE DECIDED TO GET MARRIED and it honestly took a whole lot to come back but I couldn't imagine doing it without this place. I've sort of spun what I now want the wedding to be like as opposed to what it was going to be. I plan on doing lots of DIY projects (as if I have so much time). But, it feels good to be back and I hope that you'll accept me with open arms and help me get through this quick wedding planning deal I've got going on.

WOW congrats girl! I know a couple who just got married and the wedding was planned in 6 days because the MR. is in the military also. You'll have a GREAT wedding and still have plenty of time to get it togethre. Its going to be hard but you'll do it!

And i LOVE your wedding date- it's my mom's bday!
