Grrrrrrrrrrrr. I feel like everyone around us (my mom, his parents, my extended family) feels like us having a baby would be the worst thing in the world.
DH and I aren't TTC yet, but it really sux when you know that nobody wants you to have a baby. I'm almost 30! I want to get on the baby making train soon.

It is just so fundamentaly not nice when people express their opinions in such a strong manner especially when it comes to such a personal and sensitive decision like choosing to have a baby with YOUR HUSBAND!

I'm not saying 30 is old at all, I just don't know how long they think it would be appropriate to wait. I mean if we were 23 and they were like ohh in 5 years...

My hubby and I are going through infertility treatments and my family is reacting the same way! I will be 40 years old in April! When exactly does my family think would be a good time??

yeah we used to have people saying things, now all of a sudden people want me to be like, super fertile or something. lol.
when you do get pregnant, they will be happy. it's probably the 'you just got married' phase. i hated it. some people are ready for it quicker than others and they don't know that.
