So... in a month's time is my FSIL's bach. party. We're starting off by having brunch and taking a pole dancing class. After that we're going to be going out to dinner at Caliente Cab Company followed by drinks at some rooftop lounge. Soooooooo what the eff do I wear? I feel like shopping so something new! I don't know if we're really going to have anywhere to go and change though. I mean, we'll change for pole dancing class at the place, but I don't think we have a limo or anything to really carry a few different changes of clothes.

Wear as little clothes as possible for pole dancing - the more skin the better!
As for going out, it's probably still going to be on the chilly side, so jeans and a dressy top, or a cute dress and spring jacket. I'll update with outfit ideas...

You're the best! Yeah at first I was thinking dress but eh, now I think I'd prefer skinny jeans, top, and some hot pumps.
For pole dancing I'm just doing booty shorts and a wifebeater.

Ooooh I love those tops from Express! I love that black one but totally can't pull it off with the banded bottom. That's my widest part. Hmm I'll check out Express though! So cute!

ye I agree w/skinny jeans and dressy top ur itinerary is EXACTLY (xpt the actual places) we went to for my cousin's bparty. oh we also went to a show. we all wore jeans and very fancy tops and fancy shoes, worked perfectly everywhere we went

can you wear flats during the day and then switch into heals for dinner/out? Also wear a cardi for day and remove the cardi for going out, and replace with a statement necklace or fun earrings.

Hmmm I could wear flats. I just don't know what to do with them, ya know? Like I'm going to be going out with a duffel bag! lol! Yeah, definitely doing either a cardigan or a blazer. I'm leaning towards this cardigan that Coll posted on LIF. Since I'm going to Express anyway!

bring a plastic bag with your dressy clothes. the clothes that you will be wearing for the pole will be tiny, so just bring a big purse
also depending on the pole place, they sometimes suggest wearing the heels. so make sure you have them handy

I like this cardi. What are you carrying your pole dancing clothes in?? Can you use a big tote? Or check your bag when you check your coat? Do you have cute flats that are on their way out that you can wear one last time and then toss?

The pole dancing clothes are so small I can fold them up in my purse, it's just that I know I'll have my camera and everything, too, and was trying to avoid carrying my usual BIG purse. I guess I'll have to though! Oh well.
