Has anyone seen Rain on Broadway?

If so, what's it like?

Is it more of a 'show' or more of a 'tribute concert'?

The info I've found online doesn't really give the jist of the show...it's not a show my company handles, but comp tickets are being offered to me and I want to know what the deal is before I sign on for it.

I saw it twice and I loved it, but it's definitely more of a concert. There are some 'show' elements to it, but there's no plot or anything. It's just the music. But if you are a Beatles fan, I highly recommend it! It's the closest thing to a Beatles concert you'll ever see. The singers are really good.

I want to go again with my sister (also a huge Beatles fan).

Also, there are points where they tell you to get up and dance - personally I thought it was awesome The costumes, the set design - it was all done so well.

Ive seen it 3 times ..

Its awesome. Its like a concert, sort of. They talk to the crowd and play songs from different albums. They change the set according to the albums. In btwn sets they have two screens that show old commercials.

Its really cool and definitely worth seeing.

I hear its the closest you can get to seeing the Beatles without a time machine.

I saw it with DH in december. I actually had no desire whatsoever to see it - i'm not a big beatles fan. However, i was definitely pleasantly surprised. The singing was awesome and it was really, really entertaining. Would definitely recommend it.

I consider it more of a concert than a show.
