I haven't given up something in a loooong time...but I want to get back into doing it.
I want to give up something that will have some sort of benefit for other people...but I'm kind of stumped.

Re: Lent
eh I sck at lent. I always end up giving up chocolate, wine, or like last year, celeb gossip magazines, but I never make it all the way through. i'm so weak.
I like the idea of doing something that gives back tho!!

Re: Lent
I used to give up meat...but now I just dont eat red meat or pork on a daily basis. So, I'll either give up chicken or cursing. Cursing would be a lot tougher...I have the mouth of a trucker.

Re: Lent
I'm not Catholic, but I decided to give up things when I was in college during Lent--not for religious reasons, just because I thought it would be good for me! In past years, I've given up ice cream, hair straightening (I have naturally curly hair, but no one would ever know that!), tanning, and a guy I was dating . I think I gave up reality TV both years I was in grad school, which wound up being awesome for my paper-writing!
