pet peeves

I started thinking about my pet peeves after reading Jess's post about packing grocery bags...

What are some of your pet peeves?

I have several. A few that come to mind this morning include:

1) people that refuse to merge appropriately...I drive through the holland tunnel which goes from 10+ lanes down to 2 and inevitably there is always someone who thinks that by cutting in front of someone else it will get them to work sooner

2) people who can't/don't say please/thank you...didn't we all learn this in the 1st grade?

3) people who don't cover their mouths when they sneeze/cough

4) people who come to work SICK

Do you guys have any funny ones?!

i HATE when ppl slurp on their coffee/tea/hot beverage

I hate

1 - when people eat with their mouths open 2 - smack their lips together while chewing
3 - touch my food with their hands

1.) People who put cleaning products with there meat when bagging groceries ( )

2.) People who DON'T SIGNAL WHEN CHANGING LANES!

3.) When I'm asked to get something that's 2 feet in front of them and 15 feet away from me.

4.) Express line police: One item over doesn't make me a criminal. I never say anything to someone unless they have like a HUGE cart load.

ohhh the list is long

1) Anyone who uses the word Bestie.

2) People who put their feet up on the dashboard or even worse dangle them out the window!!!!!!!!!!

3) People who scrape the fork with their teeth.

my sister in law doesn't wash her hands after she goes to the bathroom.

one time when her and DH were living together ... i printed out an article about how bad this was and all the ways in which it spread germs.

i taped it on the wall next to the toiletI'm paper holder ...




she ripped it down.

1. People who don't hold the door for anyone.

2. People who walk really slowly.

3. People who stand in front of the train doors when it's in the station.

I'm going to agree with EVERY SINGLE answer everyone gave and add some of my own:

1) I HATE when you're in traffic and the person in front of you leaves 500 feet between the car in front of them and their car, which allows other cars to get in front of them...DRIVE!

2) People who drive too slow in the left lane and then get mad when you change lanes and drive past them...

3) People who jump into a conversation and make stupid comments that have nothing to do with the conversation you are having...

4) Stupid people who call my office!!!!!

5) When my MIL makes a comment on a FB conversation that she has NO IDEA what's going on but INSISTS on being part of the conversation!

6) People thinking Queens is the anti-Christ!

And I'll stop after 1 more...

7) People who expect me and DH to come to them ALL THE TIME but NEVER come to our place - again because Queens is the anti-Christ (I stopped that because I just don't go to their house anymore)


There's more but it's just because I'm a bitter old lady who just doesn't have tolerance for stupid people, stupid actions, or stupid comments.

DISGUST-O!

I went to the bathroom at NYU after class on Saturday and I was at the sink washing my hands...2 girls came out of the stalls one after the other...stopped in front of the mirror to fix their hair...and LEFT without washing their hands. Cmon ladies. I was appalled.

1- people who clip their nails in public

2- ppl who cough up phlegm

3- ppl who are afraid to merge onto the highway... its like theyre playing double dutch..'should i go? now? now?? oo im scared... ok maybe now?'

4- when ppl cant stop coughing!!! i hate when it happens to me, but i excuse myself. it makes everyone around u feel soo uncomfy!!

this is the exact perfect description and its the most annoying thing EVER

1. People who wear sunglasses inside!!!!!!! Hello, its not sunny out!!!!!

2. Im always in a rush so when I get stuck behind a slow driver .. argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. people that chew gum with their mouth open and make that annoying sound, lol

too many to list BUT


1. People who refuse to let you in when you want to change lanes.

2. People who say mmm hmmm instead of you are welcome.

3. People who don't say please or thank you\

4. People who don't hold the door for you

5. Tailgaters

people who chew on ice.
people who cannot control the volume of their voices (e.g., you don't need to scream into a cell phone. promise.)
people who don't like cats.
