salted peanuts

I just ate a 7 serving bag that I bought in a staples. i've consumed enough sodium for a week and a half.

anyone else let themselves get to the point where they are RAVENOUS and do something as gross as this?

Not with stuff like nuts/chips/cookies, only because I know my tendencies and if I keep a package like that around, I'll wolf it down.

But I do have the occasional take-out night where I'll break out the Chinese menu and circle like four things to order for myself...or the pizza menu...or my ultimate guilty pleasure, the Taco Bell drive-thru...DH gets shocked at the amount of food that I can put down if I allow myself. Which thankfully, isn't very often. But sometimes you just have to tell common sense to go screw itself.

Now you got me craving peanuts... or better yet- CASHEWS!

hello, my name is lindsay and i JUST did this today.

mini bagel for breakfast
can of soup for lunch

equals

eating a big bag of sour gummy worms (3 servings) and a single serving bag of crunchy cheetos

had i planned ahead and brought an apple/banana/any other qualifying snack, i wouldn't have eaten the junk. yuck.

i am in desperate need of protein!

ETA - cashews would be AMAZING...

I am generally a cashews kinda girl....although, as I type this i realize i love all nuts ( i mean like almonds (especically those covered in salty, flavored goodness), walnuts, etc etc. - sickos)

I had a bag of cheddar cheese combos in my hand the whole time i was waiting in line but I decided to go for the peanuts last minute. I actually ripped the bag open while i was walking out and shook them into my mouth like a funnel!

I never pack appropriate snacks and I have ZERO control once I pass a certain appetite threshold

This is why I can't buy food in big bags or packages.........what's in the bag is a serving size for me
