why are they all so freaking high now a days? i mean really, why do they have to be 5' or higher?

I actually love high heels but more so if they have a platform! So much easier to walk in.

i love high shoes too, dont get me wrong, but im tall to begin with so then i feel like a giant, and i dont want ALL my shoes to be that high!

good point! i know what you mean! it's hard to find a nice (not to mention comfy) pair of shoes that's less than 3inches high...

i have a pair on right now - 4.5' heels and SO comfy... the sole (haha) reasons? they're maryjane's and have a platform. the platform makes the heel height much more managable and the strap means that i won't awkwardly fall out of the shoes! if these shoes didn't have those two features, i'd be a lost shoe cause...

This...exactly! I am 5'8....I would like like a GIANT in 5' heels....

I love high shoes, too, but I consider 4' high! I see those 5' heels with those chunky platforms and they make me dizzy. I wore them for my b-pics and you should've seen me teetering around in them! No way could I wear them out.
