someone come buy me a drink

my boss just friggin screamed at me in front of my whole office, basically speaking to me like I'm stupid, all because I mis read an email!!!!!! She kept going 'NO NO ITS THIS ITS THIS' instead of just saying, 'oh hey jeanmarie, you're reading it wrong' but no.... she SCREAMS at me. Like a fcking child.

I've had 3 people come up to me ask me if i were ok and if i started looking for a new job yet.

urghhhhhhhhhhhhhh- i want to beat her a$s right now.

...and about that drink, I'm at 44th and Madison. I may go to the store and buy myself a bottle of something.

if I was off today I'd ride in just to buy you the drink!

If I were in the city...I'd buy you a whole bottle!

In the meantime, I owe you a drink.

How unprofessional!!!!

When you quit, you make sure to mention that you feel the atmosphere isn't very business like and is unprofessional.

Anytime! My boss has absolutely no tact either so I feel your pain! What she calls 'constructive criticism' isn't even remotely constructive! We'll definitely meet up for lunch or happy hour though, especially when it's NOT snowing anymore.

i hateeeee that.

It happened to me once, i held it together and then i went into the bathroom and cried.

I am just checking in for the first time all day.

If I wasn't dragging my SICK boss around all day I would have absolutely come by! 9 out of 10 days I am totally flexible so consider me 'on call'

PS - my boss was complaining that he had a fever and a sore throat and body aches and chills....WTFFFFF man?!?! We were in 3 ICUs today...by the time we got to the 2nd one I asked him to put on a surgical mask... And when he went to take it off I said 'actually, why don't you keep that bad boy on bc I'd rather not catch the flu'
