Talking In Sleep Spinoff
So DH's baseball team that he coaches won the Nassau County Championship yesterday (![]()
). All the coaches went out for some drinks afterwards to celebrate - needless to say he came home at 2 am drunk. He's been driving me to work in the morning on his way to school. So this morning here's the conversation as I'm trying to wake him up:
Me: (lightly pushing him to wake him up) Shane - are you going to school today?
DH: Yes
Me: Ok well it's 6:20 - you have to get up and get moving
DH: Ok (rolls over and pulls covers up)
Me: No Shane you have to get up.
DH: But I don't know
Me: Don't know what?
DH: What colors we're wearing?
Me: What are you talking about?
DH: Uniforms - I don't know if we're wearing 1, 2 or 3
Me: (now pushing him even more to get him to wake up) Do you have to go to school?
DH: No
Me: Did you call in?
DH: No
Me: Are you going in to school?
DH: I let them know.
Me: Who is them?
DH: The parents. They don't have to go. They know what they're doing
Finally yelled at him and woke him up - he didn't remember any part of that conversation and thanked me for waking him up.
