What can I do for DH?

What can I do for DH?

So yesterday, DH had a really rough day at work. He came home super upset, so over dinner I helped him work through his feelings and offered some insight.

This morning, he left a note in my coat pocket saying 'Thank you for everything last night, I love you.'

Today over gchat I was asking if he is feeling any better and he said he is, but is exhausted and will probably be fast asleep by the time I get home from work (9pm).

I'm going home on my break in about an hour, so I want to do something to surprise him when he gets home, since I won't be able to cook him a nice dinner when I get home. What can I leave around to surprise him?

Thoughts?

If he is anything like my DH, he would want a video game and a six pack

My DH would like this too...and if you threw in some Taco Bell that would completely make his night!

I was gonna say beer- my DH says beer is to guys as flowers are to girls.

Maybe a new movie that is out or something he can just do tonight and relax???

The problem is, he's not a big drinker, he uses Netflix for all the movies he wants to see, and he just got the game he's been waiting for.........what do you do for the guy who has everything??????? My usual go-to is to cook him a nice meal, but I can't do that

Something from the bakery, maybe mini pastries, rainbow cookies or cupcakes?

Maybe.......but we'd need a bigger place....I don't think my closet is big enough for BOTH of our shoe collections

If I was a REAL good wife, I'd make the cookies.......but I certainly don't have that kind of time, lol.

We'd need 2 apartments or some kind of duplex. One apt/floor completely dedicated to shoes. Now THAT would be cool!

You are an excellent wife. Point Blank.

I love rainbow cookies. Give him a little box of cookies with a coupon for a home cooked meal of his choice this weekend???

Momma always said 'a way to a man's heart is through his stomach'!!

Hope he loves the Rainbow Cookies...(my Fave!)...though I'm sure the gesture is more helpful than the cookies themselves!
