Steve and I are not religious at all, so a judge was definitely the way to go. The Royalton at the Lawrence Yacht and Country Club recommended Judge Corbett and we are very happy they did so. Judge Corbett met with us prior to the ceremony and made some recommendations to improve our ceremony that was very good advice. The day of the wedding he was on time, courteous, helpful, calm, well spoken, and we are especially grateful that he did a good job talking us through the rehearsal beforehand. We couldn't be happier with our choice of officiant and highly recommend him.

DH and I are interfaith, and neither of us are overly religious, so we decided to keep it simple and go with a judge. Bill was a sweetheart, super accommodating when it came to meeting with us, and delivered exactly the ceremony we were looking for- simple, short, straight to the point. Judge Corbett was referred to us by our venue, The Carltun. We are an interfaith couple who were seeking a non-religious ceremony. We were so pleased - the Corbetts (www.weddingkissny.com) have perfected the ceremony process. My husband and I wouldn't have known where to begin, but we were given an outline from which we could select passages we liked to include (or eliminate, for that matter). We were also able to incorporate a few of our own readings and sentiments, which Judge Corbett supervised and performed perfectly. If you have the opportunity, it is worthwhile to meet in person at their office - you'll be quite impressed with the history you'll see posted along the walls! We are married 2+ weeks now, and are still impressed by the follow up and guidance we have gotten from Judge Corbett. Very pleased.
