My AMAZING 5/25/14 Wedding! Milleridge Cottage

Have time for a quick review, will add more as I get time haha

Milleridge Cottage- A++++++
Amazing venue- could not be happier with the food, staff, cake, etc. I just was amazed at how smoothly everything went. Jennifer is the best and was so helpful along the way. We got tons of food packed up for us after the wedding, including some cocktail hour food too which was a plus, and I got to have one of everything for dinner- like full sized entrees haha- I had duck, salmon, chicken, and chateau briand and it was phenomenal. Probably biased, but I truly feel that this was some of the best food I've eaten at a wedding. It was restaurant-quality, not 'wedding quality' if you know what I mean. The venue itself is just amazing, with the gorgeous hardwood floors and gorgeous fireplace. Wish I could go back next weekend haha

Pronovias- NYC- B

Giving them a B because I LOVED my selection appointment, and loved every fitting except for the last one, and the front desk guy, Josh, was terribly rude and ruined the experience for me. That's all i'm going to say and if you care to know more about that you can send me FM :)

Distinctive Floral Design- A++
One of my most favorite vendors that I thought would be my least lol- I don't really even like flowers, but I was just amazed at how gorgeous my centerpieces were. Will post pics soon, but Kelly was just great and had such wonderful ideas. She suggested light purple roses for the girls and I thought it was weird to do JUST roses, but omg the light purple with the plum colored dresses was so beautiful. The girls got so many compliments

Burton's Bridal- Bridesmaids Dresses- A+
Amazing prices, phenomenal alterations. That is all!

Foresto Tuxedo- A+
Wonderful owner, so sweet. The guys looked amazing that day and there were no complaints!

Bravura- A++++++
THEY WERE SO AMAZING! If you can swing the money for them, go for it! We did uplighting, DJ/MC, a Jazz trio at cocktail hour, and hired the jazz singer, Paul, as our live singer during the reception. He sang Billy Joel and Frank Sinatra right next to each other and NAILED each performance which I believe is real talent considering they are totally different artists altogether. He also sang my dad and I's dance (The way you look tonight), the anniversary dance (all the way), and a ton of other hits like con ti partiro. It was a really nice touch during the dinner hour, and my older relatives really loved it. Made our wedding very classy. then, we had all of the armin van buren, tiesto, avicii, etc. music for the rest of the affair and it was crazy awesome. I thought it was nice to have the mix of old and new music, and felt that was the reason almost every guest stuck around until midnight. We had 230 guests, and I would say about 200 of them stayed through the entire event. The dance floor was never empty, and I truly feel that this was the most dancing I have ever seen at a wedding thus far. Made me so happy to see that others were having a blast

Vintage Photo Booths NYC- A+++
This was so awesome! I had so much fun in the booth and I know everyone else did. We got a jump drive with all the pics, and got the guest book thing that many of the companies use now. It was just overall amazing, and I give huge props to the attendant because he had to deal with some crazy people at that booth at the wedding and didn't lose his s*** once haha. Very polite and professional and I was very impressed by the amount of props that were given to us as well

Christina Amador- Makeup A+++++++++
Could not get over how beautiful everyone looked on the wedding day. I even had girls change their mind at the last min to get makeup because Christina did such a good job. Her smile is infectious and she is so genuinely excited for all the brides she works with. No complaints at all and I felt so amazingly gorgeous on my wedding day

Etsy- All vendors lol A+
I got all the girls gifts, parent gifts, guys gifts, invites, beer koozies, picture frames, guest book, etc etc etc from etsy and loved it all! I would suggest not doing a guest book if you have a photo booth though- my guest book was kind of useless haha

Photo/Video- Proline Studios A+++
Loved Mike K and Mike R- They were AMAZING to work with and were so funny and laid back. We were so comfortable working with them, and we got some really cute pics taken. Hard to review without seeing the pics though, so I will update after :) Video was awesome too- the videographer said that he's never been to such a crazy dance party in his life and is gonna have a hard time figuring out what footage to cut out for our trailer. So that made me super excited! I can't wait to see the video :)

I think that's it for vendors but I'm not sure lol- I'll edit as I think of more

I have some pics in my album, and will post more into this review when I get the pro pics!
