In November 2003, my fiance was in a serious accident at work. He was airlifted to Nassau University Medical Center where he underwent emergency surgery to repair bleeding in his brain. He also had 2 broken bones in his neck & a broken femur.
As a special 'thank you' to NUMC, we decided to donate money to them in lieu of favors at our wedding.
