Heather, what I've heard was negative even though they seem to be pretty booked.
I was considering it also and my mother went to see it while I was out of town. She did not like the location. There's a fast food place right next door and she says it looks kinda cheesy. I have not seen it myself, but my mom is not picky so if she said it wasn't up to par, then I'm sure it wasn't. I think you can do better for the same or close to the same price.

Go see it. That should make your decision.

I'm from West Hempstead......
I have never been there, but the
location is terrible. It's right
on Hempstead Turnpike with a Wendy's
and a car wash right next door.
Just my opinion. Check it out
yourself.

also from WH - the location does leave a lot to be desired, and it's all glass outside and on stilts, but cheesy is in the eye of the beholder, for ex. I thought sandcastle was so cheesy but so many people love it there (and that location is not all that much better). For family reasons I needed to have a reception close to home and wanted to get married there. My FH said he had been there and didn't like it so that was that, then turns out he was thinking of a different place after we had already booked somewhere. If you are looking for places in that area, (i've posted about this before) I am getting married at 15th and West which is on the garden city/mineola border. I keep posting about it bc they are not allowed to advertise, and if it wasn't for word of mouth I would never have found them. Mosre of a low key place, definitley not cheesy. Also, I saw Ariana listed somewhere as a moroccan or idian or something like that place, but that might have been old. Like Lisa said, go check it out, and then you'll be sure, you never know! good luck!

Ariana Waterfall
While I was in school at Adelphi University, I remember them building Ariana Waterfall ... something like 10 years ago. The grounds it stands above is really nothing to speak about, so as long as you don`t have your heart set on a place with extensive gardens, it may be worth looking into. There is a Wendy`s and a car wash on one side, while the other side of the building is pretty much built within inches of an IHOP, unless things have changed in the last couple of years. There is a huge parking lot in the back of the building, and it sits just off the sidewalk of Hempstead Turnpike.
Sometimes outdoor pictures can be deceiving, if the photographer plans it just right. If you think you might be interested in the place, call them and ask some important questions first. Then, if they satisfy you, drop in for a visit and see how they treat you and if the place is for you. But I recommend making calls first, it can save a lot of wasted traveling time if you ask your most important questions before getting in the car and making the trip .. to any vendor.
Good Luck!

We went to look at the Ariana Waterfall. We pulled into the parking lot and did not like what we saw so we kept driving. You should go see it. That will help your decision I think.
