Black!

Does anyone think this is a bad color for bridesmaid dresses?

I think it's an awesome color. A black & white wedding party is very classic looking. I know the older generations (at least the Italians) do not really feel that it's appropriate.

I would have done black if my wedding was at night... I don't think its a good idea for a day wedding.

I went to a wedding in Oct and the girls wore Dessy #1952 in black and it looked great! I know that one of the BM has already reworn the dress to another wedding! If you want a holiday theme - have them carry red roses with some holly berry leaves!

I think it is a great color choice, especially for those that will complain about the cost, they will definitely have use of a black dress again.

My friend got married last June and she let all her bm's chose a long black dress (any style). I thought it sounded kind of weird at first but they all looked so elegant and her pics came out beautiful!

My signature color was red and I still had BLACK BM dresses.

I just hate when Im forced to wear some hideous color and who doesnt look good in black?

So funny b/c my FI and I were arguing over this just this morning. I want black for bm and he said it is too funerally. I don't know what that means!!! I mean, his guys wil be in black tuxes!!! not sky blue!!! Why can't my girls? Plus, black in slimming and my bm would so appreciate that.

I like what septbride said...do black dresses with red flowers...maybe holly or something....black is so universal and would work for your holiday themed wedding.
