Hi...... I am having a tough time finding a wedding band. My E-ring is three stones and somehow there is like a gap of space between my E-ring and wedding bands I try on and it just doesn't look right. I really want my wedding ring and E-ring to be right next to each other with no space in between. Has anyone else experienced this? It sounds so silly, but it is really bugging me. It has happened with both plain metal bands and also with eternaty diamond bands.
Sorry if I am not explaining it well...hopefully I'll still get some responses. TIA!

Re: E-ring and wedding band help...
you will either have to get a curved wedding band (prob custom made, but not necessarily more expensive) or have your e-ring setting raised... or get used to the space. or, wear your wedding ring on the other hand
i'll have the same problem. ill prob just deal with the space.. we'll see once i start looking at bands

Do you have any pictures of your e-ring? maybe if I saw what it looks like I could think of what would work best?

Re: E-ring and wedding band help...
You can have them sodder the two rings together so there is no gap and they wont spin....that is what I am doing with mine...I have a very non typical ring and my wedding band will be just like my e-ring but instead of a double band it is a single and I am having them sodder it together so it becomes one ring. This is my e-ring.... to give you a better idea of what I am talking about.

I will try to attach a pic of my ring ... not sure if it will work
Thanks for the replies. I don't really want a curved band but raising my E-ring setting sounds like a great idea that could work. I never thought of that! I am going to go back to the jeweler who made my E-ring and ask him if raising it would solve the problem!
this is a solitaire and not a 3-stone ring but it's the same idea. if your setting is raised so that it is steep or at least starts 'above' the band you can fit a small band flush. kind of like this:
Bluegreen - that's exactly how I would like it to look. I'm so glad you made the suggestion. Hopefully it won't cost too much to raise it...

Although me e-ring isn't a three stone ring, I was having the same problem. I was also getting two bands, one for each side of the e-ring. My jeweler shaved doen my ering a little, you cant even tell. Look in my album, you'll see how they sit together perfectly!

Re: E-ring and wedding band help...
i know attias flea market is GREAT with custom making bands...my SIL went there (her's was a very unique antique shape) and they made a complete mold so it would match & lock together perfectly. i'd definetly try there... They used 'H&A' jewelers - they're super reputable

Re: E-ring and wedding band help...
Glad to help. I had that picture saved on my laptop because that's the look I wanted with my ring, although my ring isn't exactly the same. The prongs start lower, so I doub't I'll be able to have my wedding band sit flush unless my setting is raised slightly or shaved down. I'll talk to a jeweler and see what they say.

My FSIL has the same ring as you, and her wedding band is curved and has all oval diamonds. It is absolutely beautiful, and fits perfectly. So I would recommend looking for a curved band.

I would definitely go to Attias in Sayville. When you are looking at the building, the last entrance to the left go in there. As you walk in there is a booth called elegant jewelers. My e-ring was designed there and it is a princess cut 3 stone. He actually made a coordinating wedding band which fits into it. It is gorgeous!!!! He is highly recommended.

I second Elsa. I'm having my band made by them and I highly recommend her! And it's not expensive at all. I got quoted $1500 for my band and it'll be platinum with white and yellow diamonds

we had MAJOR, MAJOR problems withs elegant jewelers and they refuse to stand by their product, a family friend reconmennded us to go to them and they regret telling us to - I would never use them or tell someone to go to them.
