How much do you have in your 'tipping' budget?

How much do you have in your 'tipping' budget?

I originally put $500 but I'm thinking I have to bump it to $1000.

How much are you giving to the maitre d?

I was planning to give him $3 per guest but at our menu selection meeting, he recommended $5.

Our Maitre'D fee is already included in our contract it is $3pp.

Our Maitre'D is included in my price to i have to have 250 dollars for him if i want i can give more .

I think we wound up tipping the Maitre 'D $3.50 pp. We spent close to $1000 in tips.

We have now decided on giving the maitr. d. 500.00 even, we feel that is more then enough...

I think this is what we're doing as well.

Our total tipping budget is around $800+.

We have $1350 for our tipping list on the day of.

For the maitre'd, we were told $3-5 per person (we're expecting 125 guests).
The rest of our tip list is:
photographers (2)
videographer
limo
valet
dj
bridal attendants
priest
altar boys
organist/soloist

It adds up VERY quickly!

We're giving the maitre D's $1000 (we have 3 so they split the amount we give them among all 3) - we're having over 300 guests so we're doing $3 a person.....hate the tipping part!!

$50 photog., $50-$100 for the DJ, and maybe $2pp for the maitre d.
