Spinoff...What's DH being for Halloween?

DH doesn't like to dress up for Halloween, even when we go to a party. Last time we went to one he just wore a weird shirt with flames on it...so lame!

I have no idea what to tell him to dress up as since he's so stubborn about that stuff.

DH has had a bunch of fun costumes over the years....

1. marathon runner (shorts, tank top, number safety pinned to his chest, sweatband, sneakers) -- good for warm weather

2. scary dude (painted his face to look like a skeleton, he wore jeans and a hoodie sweatshirt... but scared the crapola out of people who saw him straight on) -- good for cold weather

3. in 2006 it was right after the project runway finale and he went as Jeffrey Sebelia, complete with black combat boots, cutoff jeans, 'tattoos', sunglasses, hair etc. It was a big hit

4. in 2007 he went as Dr. House with the flamed cane, jeans, blue button down, facial hair, etc. also used stagemakeup to make him look a little more like Hugh Laurie

still undecided this year... he tossed around the idea of us doing dirty dancing but we dont really look like the characters and might be hard to ID

we've had friends go as 'nerdy banker' or 'pimp' or some fun couples costumes were mounds/almond joy (his said 'i have nuts' on the back, hers said 'i don't')

etc

dh likes to dress up

last year he was raul duke, which was johnny depp's character in fear and loathing in las vegas

the year before he was a prisoner in an orange jumpsuit

before that him and his friends dressed up as the average joe's from dodge ball.

Hes also done the clark kent look, the one in a suit with the superman shirt underneath

one year he dressed up as a priest, he went to soundfactory that night and thought it was funny lol

DH wants to be Saul from Pineapple Express.

He wants to wear the yellow headband and a long wig with the thermal shirt under a t shirt

He is going to be a corpse groom and I a corpse bride I bought my wedding dress already... We are trying to go for the below look...my idea, he wanted to be joker and I would have had to be poison ivy and the costumes out there are ugly.

This year we're going as the Green Monkeys from Legends of the Hidden Temple....it was supposed to be for last year but we didn't get it together in time...

Last year I was a baseball player and DH was an umpire--we threw that together at the last minute. DH already had some umpire stuff b/c he used to do little league, but he got a black polo and one of those short brim hats, he had the bag and some baseballs and the brush to dust the plate....we spent the evening 'arguing' and making up haha....

Previously he has been....

**A hula girl (yes he wore a coconut bra...and a grass skirt)
**Clark Kent/Superman (like Denise's DH--this one is actually really easy, just wear the superman tshirt under a button down open at the top, get some thick rimmed glasses, and you're good to go!)
**Magic 8-Ball (wore all black, put an 8 on his chest)

can't remember what else....

mine just bought his costume:

count chocula(yes from the cereal) he wanted to be captain crunch but couldnt find it lol

I actually came up with a costume tonight for him...he loves to watch 'The Deadliest Catch', so I suggested he dress up as one of those guys. He's just going to wear an orange raincoat and I'm going to get him some fake plastic crabs and a fishing net to carry around.

DH has been a ghost groom, superman and clark ( like many others) and a renaisannace guy, this year we are thinking johnny depp and elizabeth swann (victorian costume)

last year i was mary poppins and he was burt. i made the costumes but unfortunately didn't get any pictures of us together... =0( people seemed to like it though!
