Re: Tears of Joy Packets
i'm so happy i could help in any way.
i must add a tip or two that i forgot to mention. don't use paper that's too thick because it will be VERY hard to fold and will look quite stiff. don't ask me how i know that it's just WRONG to use cardstock.
i used 24 lb paper. i found it at staples. right with the resume paper.
the other tip is about printing the info. if you want it all on the 'cuff' it's best to print the information in a 'footer/header' that way it's right at the edge of the paper. this then might make you have to change the dimensions of the folds so that everything shows.
i modified my folds, because i wanted it to fit snuggly around the tissue. i used the 'travel' tissue, and i wanted it to look a little more 'finished' for the size tissues.
finally, you don't need to make as many as you think. remember, not many men will cry at a wedding. so you don't have to worry about making a pack for each and every guest.
