*UPDATE* MAJOR dress dilemma....need help! long

UPDATE: i spoke to my sister. i told her since the dress is expensive i don't want her to pay for the whole thing so whatever she gives me is fine and i'll kick in the rest. i'm 99.9% sure i'm going to go with the second dress.

so i already ordered a dress which is the white one with the naked guy in the picture. but yesterday my friend took me to a wedding salon in brooklyn and i saw a dress that i fell in love with a few weeks ago in another salon but it was way overpriced there. the salon she brought me to yesterday happens to be the salon of the woman who makes the dress so it's cheaper there.

i feel like it's fate cause i haven't been able to stop thinking about it since i saw it. i tried it one and i love it. i didn't want to take it off. i feel like a bride in it. but there are down sides to it:

1. $2,700 price difference. (new dress comes with free alterations, veil, and hair piece of my choice. the prices difference is after paying for all that stuff for the old dress.)
2. i have to wear a slip under it which makes it heavier & hotter.

money aside because my sister said my dress is a gift from her and yelled at me when i told her how much the first one cost cause she said it's too cheap. i don't know what to do.

any opinions??

(i don't have a pic of me in the first dress)

I totally agree! You only get to do this once, so go with what you really want.

i really want to but i feel bad spending so much on a dress to wear once. althought it's made from silk to i can have the lady make me a dress out of it after the wedding & since it's not white its off white i can wear it again.

When I looked at the first pic I was like that's pretty but when I looked at the second pic I was like WOW thats a hot dress.

I think if you feel that strongly about the gown then go for it.

I think you look great in the dress and you should get whatever you feel gorgeous in, no matter what the cost! If it's the dress than it's the dress!

I think whatever dress makes you feel the most special, the one that gave you the emotional ' pull' is the one you should go for.
Must say the first was pretty but the second one was truly a 'princess dress'.

This is the day we as ' little girls' have waited for all our lives, to be ' a princess.'

See what you can do about getting your deposit back on first dress if the 2nd is truly one you LOVE
