The Fountainhead/ The Water's Edge/ The VIP

Hey Girls,
I'm trying to find out typical prices for these reception halls for a summer wedding... fri/sat/or sun night.
Anyone know any of the prices?? Or can anyone suggest another nice hall in westchester/nyc/ or northern new jersey for about 90-125 per person?

I can't really give you pricing info - but I can tell you that my cousin got married at VIP a few years ago and that everything was excellent. Cocktail hour in particular had amazing food!

Check out weddingsitesandservices.com. They might be able to give you some prices.

Im having my reception at the VIP, and for sept 4th, which will be labor day weekend (sunday) they quoted me 100 per person. I think the beginning of Sept. is still summery, so HTH.

got married at the fountainhead a few weeks ago. everything was great and very well priced. i have pics in my album. i got married on a saturday night within your budget

I looked at the Fountian Head for 9/14 and it was 100 per head for regular menu.... I went a little furter up and found the Villa Barone.. If you want to go up to Mahopac take a look at the Villa Barone, its gorgeous!!!!

I was at a wedding at the Fountainhead and it was beautiful! I also went to a wedding at the Villa Barrone in Mahopac and the one in the Bronx.....both were beautiful and fairly reasonable!

I'm getting married at the VIP and the cocktail hour room def sold me it's really nice. I also like that there are windows in the reception room. My mom was in love with the fountain head, and we both loved the ceremony area, but' there's no windows (at least in the small room) and I'm a big outdoorsey person I wanted sunlight! Also there's not much space outside of the fountain head to take pictures. But if you go with the big room there it is very very nice....i saw a bar mitzvah set up and it looked great.

VIP is costing me $100++
I think fountain head was a little less maybe $90++ but I thought VIP included more in the package and they are really working with me on the types of food. I am a vegetarian so they let me add on a few extra things to make sure we had stuff I could eat. We are also doing Kosher style and they are going to work with us on that as well.

The Water's Edge quoted me $150 pp for a Friday night in summer '09 so i think they are out of your budget.

Thanks for all the info. My fh's sister got married at the VIP a couple of years ago for the same price so I am glad to hear that it hasn't changed. It was such an amazing wedding with sooooooo much food so I am sure those of you who are getting married there will love it. I thought the water's edge might be more than I wanted to spend so thanks for letting me know before I make the trip all the way down there.
Do you guys know if the larger room at the fountainhead has a lot of windows?

there are no windows in the fountainhead larger room. however, there are 2 entrances to the ballroom which offer light (connected to glass atrium). This would be where we were announced in my pictures. the fountainhead has colored lighting within their walls and ceilings to offer as well.
