Inn at New Hyde Park Price Quotes

Hey Ladies,

I'm been on here for quite some time and searching for a reception location for even longer. I think I may have finally found the place, The Inn at New Hyde Park, and was wondering if any of you ladies have price quotes for this location.

Hi, I am getting married there May , 2009...I do not no exactly what the price list was when we booked, but I do know that we got a decent deal b/c we booked before it was totally finished...It does depend on the monthe and day obviously.I saw that you have 8/08...if that is a sat. night....My guess would be that you would pay around 110-120 per person...but then again that is totally a guess...sorry not very helpful...call there and ask to speak to Linda she is great!!

I would suggest calling as soon as possible. I wanted to get married in Nov. 2008 on a Saturday night but Saturdays in Nov 2008 seemed to be totally booked up. I believe there are a bunch of Friday's and Sat days (which are cheaper) open. Give them a call as soon as you can. They are very nice and will try to work with you! Not sure about August but i think they had open dates.

I checked it out in the beginning of October for November 2008, and they were pretty booked up. Then for May 2009 on a Friday they told me it'd be $130 (including tax and gratuity I believe, but I don't think that included a viennese hour). Also, this was a deal they were giving us because we had a connection.

I can't remember the quote for a Saturday in April 2009, I think it might've been around $180 something, and for a Saturday in May 2009 it would be $195.

I had heard from people and read on the boards here that people were able to get really good deals if they booked before the remodeling was done. By the time I checked it out, the majority of the remodeling was finished, so I think now they're looking to charge the higher prices.

These are rough quotes. I didn't get into playing around with the prices depending on menu selection. Also, this does not include the price for having the ceremony there too in case you were wondering.

Oh, I remember the lady I spoke to was saying how she had Halloween 2008 available, which is a Friday night, and how she can't seem to give that date away. You could possibly get a good deal if you booked that date then!

Also, I do believe they did have a lot of Sundays available for weddings in 2008.

I booked in October for May 2009 and the prices are definetely much higher than what I hear people got pre-remodeling -- but I must say it is one of the nicest places interior wise that I have seen. The bridal suite is just incredible and there standard menu is hard to beat. You should definetely check it out to see what is out there (but call first to see what dates are open) - if you are fexible on dated -- they will work with you.
