we are going to see if there's another hall we like instead of trying to afford glen island even though it is gorgeous but a little too pricey for us but we will see especially we have to go with their house vendor for flowers & i priced them & they are EXPENSIVE at least to me they are!!! I'm going to look into Venetian Yacht Club- it looks so beautiful & both 'Dancinmyazoff & Karen6474' had amazing things to say about the place plus its in our budget on a sat night.

What about if you had it in an off-peak month. Like november? or january? Cause then you can still have it at the place you want, but it will be alot cheaper.

i would consider off peek but i have alot of relatives who are still in school & probably wouldnt make it & i always wanted a summer wedding! a friend of mine went to VYC for a wedding & she raved about it!!! so i have to check it out!!

yes VYC is gorgeous!! but definitely think about what you want & VYC does have great prices!! i would say go & visit to see if u love it!!! I heard Glen island is sooo beautiful!!! definitely see which u like better!!

That's a great decision, you don't want to book somewhere you aren't 100% positive about. Even if you don't pick VYC you want to be completely happy and non second guessing yourself. I'm just curious what was Glen Island PP???

i got it for $170/pp including taxes & service plus we added th VH & seafoodboat. AT VYC are you adding the seafood boat & VH

I almost went with Glen Island, I also didnt like that you had to use their florist...my cousin got married there a few years back and didnt use their florist although Jack the BM told me this wasnt true..it was! I could not stand him and decided not to go with Glen...good luck to you
